Acquisition in the United States for the world leader Vallourec
Houston, July 24-25, 2008

The acquisition of Atlas Bradford, TCA and Tube Alloy strengthens Vallourec's overall presence in the fast-growing energy market. Since welcoming the newcomers and fostering cultural integration is crucial for this group, an intercultural session was organised and conducted by Nancy Bragard and Jacques Pateau for 50 US American managers.

Taishan project for Areva
April, 22-24, 2008

AREVA, a France-based global energy giant, won the construction contract of the Taishan Nuclear Plant Project in Jiangmen City of Guangdong Province. In order to lay foundations for a trustful cooperation within the Franco-German-Chinese team, Pateau Consultants and Eurogroup conducted together a three-day seminar for the project team.

Pateau Consultants runs for Thales a Bridge seminar for the project management team in charge of this fascinating project. Italian, French, Portuguese and Dubai managers spent two days developing skills to overcome cultural differences and to improve their performance as a virtual team.

From Bremen to Munich
Germany, January-May, 2008

Astrium, a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS, is dedicated to providing civil and defence space systems and services. During 5 months 16 talks were organised in Bremen, Ottobrunn, Lampoldshausen. The aim of this action is to sensitize German employees and to develop cultural awareness and knowledge about the French culture.
