Managing cultural diversity

During the annual meeting organized DFI (Deutsch-Französisches Institut) on the topic of cultural diversity, Jacques Pateau chaired the closing roundtable discussion in the company of Klaus Grewlich, Ambassador for the Federal Republic of Germany and Robert Picht, Director of the Collège d'Europe (College of Europe) in Bruges.

Pateau Consultants sponsored and chaired the international meeting of German and French Financial Officers and Managing Directors. After Alfred Grosser's welcome, Jacques Pateau spoke on “The intercultural dimension in the day-to-day management of European companies”. Helga Schenzer facilitated a workshop entitled : “How to reconcile cultural diversity and the need for shared managerial practices”.

Jacques Pateau was invited by Brigitte Sausay along with other personalities from the worlds of politics, economics and education to participate in a day of discussions on the subject of Franco-German cooperation at the Chancellor's office and Gerhard Schröder was among the attendees. Jacques offered his insights from the business perspective in answer to the question : “What have we learned from Franco-German relations over the last ten years ?”.
Fashion and Intercultural Communication

Pateau Consultants organized a session for thirty executives and top managers from the company Pimke. It was aimed at better identifying and understanding the role of cultural phenomena in European fashion and their effects on teamwork.
